Abstract:
This is a Legacy dataset from the Coquille Watershed Association. As such not much is known about it other than Streams were stereocompiled in 1990 from 1:20,000-scale aerial photography onto 1:12,000-scale base maps and then
digitized. An update was completed in 1994 using GPS files. The coverage does not cover the entire coquille basin.

Purpose: To present a coverage of improved scale for use with the other hydro coverages on the SWOP CD.

The data was recieved fromt he Coquille Watershed Association in ESRI shapefile format. It was converted to an ArcInfo cover and projected into the Oregon Lambert projection. Not much is known about the original process to create the cover other than that streams were stereocompiled in 1990 from 1:20,000-scale aerial photography onto 1:12,000-scale base maps and then digitized. An update was completed in 1994 using GPS files.
